Shew, I've really been slacking on posting these last few weeks. Been putting in a lot of hours and long late days getting this house finished up. I finished the upstairs the week before last and after seeing it the owner asked me if I could do the downstairs as well. It was a challenge, but I got it finished last week. I'm working on before and after pictures of the whole project so I can post them. The difference is insane. Thank you all so much for your support and business. Forgot to post last week, but HUGE progress was made on this house I've been working on. In these pictures from Friday I had finished all the trim and doors (base will need a final coat once the floors are finished) and got the first finish coat on the walls. I went back on Saturday and put the second finish coat on the walls, but no pictures yet. I'll get pictures of the finished product once they finish the floors. That is a ton of progress on this place in a short time. They're going to be doing the floors this week (hopefully) while I'm at the beach ⛱️ 😎 when I come back the floors should be finished and I will be able to finish. What a transformation this has been, I can't wait to share the finished results!!

Forgot to post the results of the Kilz spray yesterday, I didn't get home until late. But, I think it came out alright. No more nasty ni****ne and dog stains and smells in there. Next step, prepping for finish paint. It's coming along!

Well, after about 60 hours of prep work this week, I was finally ready to start spraying this place. With some help from my dad, the real master, we covered this house in over 20 gallons of oil base KILZ. Man that stuff is deadly, about took us both out. 😅 But they won't have to worry about all those nasty stains and odors anymore. Have to let it air out and settle over the weekend and it will be ready to start painting next week. I'll post some pictures of the results of the spraying when I can get back in there on Monday.

Been working on this distressed rental house this week for a client. 14 years of chain smoking, unregulated pets, and neglect of maintenance can cause significant damage. The photographs don't accurately capture the extent of the issue, and the odor is just awful. Fortunately, they have hired the right professionals to restore the property to its original state. I'll be posting some updates on this one as it moves along.

Painted some more doors over the last couple of days on this beautiful log cabin style house. They turned out really great! I love these colors.
