HIRING: Experienced Construction Foreman

We’re a small commercial construction company based in Church Hill that focuses on concrete, groundwork and stormwater management.

We need a working foreman who can run a small crew, keep jobs moving, and jump in when needed.

Details:
- 40-50 hours per week (average) - $36-$39/hour, overtime eligible.
- CDL A license and heavy equipment operator experience highly favored.
- Commercial and concrete construction background preferred.
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check; clean driving record is required.

Each concrete ingredient is contained in a separate compartment. Once the operation has started, the sand and stone exit their respective bins, then pass under the cement bin and falls into the mixing auger. The cement bin precisely meters the correct amount of cement onto the mix. All materials simultaneously enter the continuous mixer where they are thoroughly mixed by Cemen Tech’s unique mix auger. The concrete mixture is then carried to the discharge chute, with perfect concrete is produced for each and every pour!

Second Wind Contracting has an immediate need for skilled construction tradesmen to support ongoing commercial and residential construction on the Eastern Shore of Maryland.

We perform residential renovations, commercial tenant fit-outs, concrete construction, excavation site work and more.

Must have:
• Reliable transportation
• Hand tools
• Ability to pass a DOT physical
• Construction and/or concrete experience - basic knowledge required
• Awareness of construction site safety precautions
• Jobsite cleanliness and awareness of surroundings
• Clean driving record in order to operate company-owned vehicles and machinery
• Strong work ethic
• Attention to detail

Preferred qualifications:
• Class A CDL drivers license
• Equipment operating experience, including excavator, gooseneck trailer and skid steer
• Knowledge of concrete technique
