Thankfully it looks like all of our mowers are in working condition. We will be returning to action tomorrow morning as we work today to find a new place to live. Our apartment was on the side of the building closest to the abandoned building that was on fire and there is enough fire damage to the electric lines that it wouldn’t be feasible for us to live there at the current moment. We thank you for your patience while we get through this. If we don’t mow on a normal day we come to your place, please know that we will be there as soon as possible.

We also want to again send a shoutout to the brave men and women of the fire departments from Ludlow, Fort Wright, Park Hills, Covington and other towns that showed up to put the fire out before it spread to our building. Also a HUGE shoutout to all the bystanders that pitched in to go to Riverside Marketplace to buy ice and bottled water for the firefighters while the blaze was going on. We had always heard about the sense of community that encompasses Ludlow and we found out firsthand last night just how much everyone cares about others there. Thank you!

Just wanted to let all of our customers know that it doesn’t look like our mowers were damaged, but here is proof that there was a fire going on. The building we live in is the black building and thankfully there was no damage to it, but the abandoned building it so badly damaged that they are going to demolish it tomorrow morning. Since they are doing that tomorrow, they are not allowing us to stay in our apartment tonight so that means we will not be mowing tomorrow. We will keep everyone updated on when we will resume mowing. Please be patient with us as we work through this trying time.

We apologize for having to say this, but we don’t know when we will be back in Business. An abandoned building next to our apartment is on fire and the flames at the onset were already dangerously close to our mowers and we think they are toast (no pun intended). We will keep everyone updated on the situation. Thankfully everyone that lives in the surrounding area was able to get out safely and that is the most important thing. We also want to thank the brave men and women of the fire departments from multiple locations such as Ludlow, Covington, Fort Wright and other neighboring communities for being so quick to get here and start their duties.

To anyone that follows us and is a normal Tuesday customer of ours, we apologize for not getting to a few of you as the floodgates opened as we were out on a yard. We will have to get your yard in tomorrow at some point as long as the rain holds off then as well.

Please be patient as we rearrange things to accommodate all of our customers. Yes we love the rain sometimes as it helps the grass grown, but it also means that we can’t mow while it rains. Thank you for understanding and we will keep you updated as we go.
