**STOP AND READ***
What to look for when hiring a painting company? We’ve been reading a lot of horror stories recently and we want to help anybody looking to hire a painter! We want to save you time, money, and unwanted stress when it comes to choosing the right company for your paint projects!
Signs you’ve got a preferred or experienced painter:
-They walk you thru their start to finish process when they meet with you
-They discuss what paint colors and vibe/feel you are going for in each room
-They talk to you thoroughly on their prep process and clean up process(this is the MOST important part of the job because it allows for a great finish when applying the finished paint coat)
-The company or person gives you a business card with a point of contact person for YOUR project! You shouldn’t have to chase down who you hire for your project if they have a crew running the project for them.
-They NEVER ask for full payment up front. 50% should be the max that you ever pay up front, especially in painting because the over head for a paint job, in most projects, don’t require over 50% up front to be able to pay the crew.
-Lastly, you should have all project related questions answered when they leave your estimate! Sure some questions may require a follow up meeting, but in regards to the project process, paint type to be used, and expectations there should be no confusion after the estimate!
Thanks for listening to our tips! We hope this saves you time and helps you make a great decision on who you hire!
