Part of recovery mission from last post. Contractor decided, against clients wishes, to remove the old drop ceiling, part of shelving unit, and ceiling in garage.

Part of the recovery mission from last post. Other contractor decided against the client and tore down the old drop ceiling. Guessing to get to plumbing, but not necessary and he tore out drywall in the garage.

I call this a recovery mission. Been on a few. Previous contractor was removed, actually in jail when I started and being sued by multiple people. These are not easy jobs to take on when you have to build upon another person's work. Hard to make perfect and figure out what they did right or wrong to correct without a full demo. I believe after this one I will no longer do them unless I can start from scratch. Hard to predict things that cost you time and money. In the end I think it looks nice.

Side note, I did have to remove the right and left side tile in shower due to the previous contractor not continuing the pattern correctly.
