Nearly 100 years after it was built, this historic staircase is getting a second life.

At the University of Cincinnati's The Why renovation, our craftsmen are carefully restoring original wood stair components as part of the transformation of the former YMCA building into a new student gathering space.

Projects like this require more than installation. They require an understanding of how to preserve the architectural details that give historic spaces their character while preparing them for decades of future use.

Throughout the hotel’s public spaces, Stanton Millworks brought the details to life with custom architectural millwork, including the reception desk and wall paneling, bars throughout the cafe and dining areas, arched paneling, wood shelving, server stations, and more.
