Earlier this month, our Board-Up team attended the Clermont County Fire Investigation Team Fire Investigation Seminar!

It was a great two days of learning and collaboration covering the purpose of a fire investigation, including how investigators determine whether a fire is accidental or suspicious, confirm coverage, and ensure the facts of a loss align with policy coverage and exclusions. The seminar also reinforced the obligation to the insured to thoroughly investigate every claim.

And of course, Sonnet stopped by to say hi, which made a great day even better 🐾

We’re proud to continue investing in education and training so we can better support fire investigators, insurance professionals, and property owners when it matters most.

🔥🐾 SONNET IN ACTION! 🐾🔥 Last week, Lieutenant Ellis and K-9 Sonnet were on scene at a recent boardup in Hamilton County, assisting with an arson investigation.

Specially trained to detect accelerants, Sonnet uses her incredible nose to pinpoint potential evidence that could otherwise go unnoticed. Her work helps fire investigators like Lt. Ellis solve cases faster and bring answers to property owners and the community. We’re proud to work alongside agencies like Hamilton County Fire Investigation and witness K-9 Sonnet in action!

We were honored to be a sponsor at the Cincinnati Fire Fighters Union Local 48 event at Topgolf! This event was for a great cause and in partnership with the Firefighter Cancer Support Network and the Local 48 Burn and Injured Fund.

The Firefighter Cancer Support Network provides assistance and resources to firefighters and their families facing a cancer diagnosis, offering guidance, education, and support. The Local 48 Burn and Injured Fund supports firefighters in the Cincinnati area who have been injured in the line of duty, providing financial assistance and resources during recovery. Both organizations are dedicated to helping those who risk their lives to protect others.
