O’ROURKE was honored to welcome Ohio Lt. Governor Jim Tressel and University of Cincinnati President Neville Pinto to the Crosley Tower project this week as part of the WorkOhio Job Connector Tour.

What stood out most was Lt. Governor Tressel’s genuine interest in our people. He took time to talk with team members across the project, from UC co-op students and laborers to operators, project managers, and field leaders, learning about their career journeys and what brought them into construction.

Crosley Tower is more than a demolition project. It is an opportunity to showcase the many pathways available in the skilled trades and the important role construction plays in building Ohio’s future workforce.

Thank you to Lt. Governor Tressel, President Pinto, , and the Cincinnati Chamber’s Brendon Cull and Audrey Treasure for a great visit and meaningful conversations about workforce development.

Touch-A-Truck returns on Saturday, June 6, and this year’s event is bigger than ever — taking place at all Braxton Brewing Co. locations!

From 3:00 to 5:00 PM, families can explore real construction vehicles and meet the professionals who operate them, and kids can learn more about the equipment by climbing aboard and experiencing the thrill of sitting in the driver’s seat of their favorite machines.

This event is part of our ongoing mission to spark curiosity, celebrate the trades, and connect the community with the people and tools that shape our built environment. Whether you’re bringing little ones for an afternoon of hands‑on fun or stopping by to support the industry, Touch A Truck is a great way to spend a Saturday.
