An incredible rooftop in the heart of Oakley… that was almost too sunny to enjoy.

Sitting four stories up, this rooftop gets direct sun from morning until sunset. The goal sounded simple: create some shade and make this beautiful outdoor space comfortable and usable throughout more of the day.

The challenge? Four stories up with no exterior roof access.

The adjustable louvered pergola gave our clients the best of both worlds - shade when the sun or weather is beating down and the ability to open everything back up when the weather is just right.

A few weeks ago, we had the privilege of returning with the team to photograph the finished project, and they captured not only the pergola, but just how unique this rooftop setting really is.

A great outdoor space shouldn't just look good. It should be a space you can actually use.

25 years...Thousands of paddlers...One incredible Cincinnati tradition.
Today we're proud to celebrate the 25th Anniversary of Ohio River Paddlefest!

For 25 years, Ohio River Paddlefest has brought our community together to experience the Ohio River in a way most people never do, while supporting ADVENTURE CREW's mission of connecting local teens with nature, leadership, and outdoor adventure.
We're honored to be a small part of this incredible tradition and to continue supporting an event that celebrates everything we love about Cincinnati—community, adventure, and bringing people together.

This year, we had the opportunity to create our interactive "Years of Paddling Together" photo board, and it was so much fun watching paddlers stop, smile, and make memories before heading out on the river.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, snapped a photo, and celebrated with us. We love being part of a community that shows up for one another.

Here's to another year of paddling together and making memories on the Ohio River!

Today, we're celebrating the fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have taught us so much - not just about work, but about life.

The lessons that matter most aren't found in blueprints or job schedules. They're found in showing up, lending a hand, keeping your word, and caring for the people around you.

We're grateful for the examples set by the generations before us and for the dads on our team who continue to pass those values on every day.

This week’s Design Story: a kitchen designed for clients who love to cook, gather, and entertain all while cooking.

The goal was to transform a dated kitchen into a space that could support real cooking, easy conversation, and everyday life. The finished design includes a generous island, thoughtful storage, layered lighting, beverage refrigeration, and an appliance lift — all working together to make the kitchen both beautiful and functional.

Because the best spaces do more than look good. They support the way you live.

First up: this kitchen refresh.

Sometimes a project is not about a grand remodel or changing every single thing. Sometimes it is about taking a hard-working space and giving it a fresh start.

For this kitchen, the goal was to create a space that felt clean, functional, brighter, and ready for everyday life. With updated cabinetry, countertops, appliances, flooring, and a more finished feel, this compact kitchen now feels calm, cared for, and completely refreshed.

We love a dramatic before and after, but we also love the everyday transformations that simply make home feel better.
