Good morning from the Backwoods 🙂 Checking pots for drainage with all the rain forecasted for the upcoming week. I may have to move a few plants into the greenhouse if they start getting too wet.

Rain or shine, Backwoods Bromeliads will be there.

This weekend we hope to see you in Williston at Cedar Lakes Woods and Gardens for their 11th annual Spring Festival. If you haven't walked this garden before you're in for a treat. Amazing views and even more incredible plants/trees. We stocked up on "Fantastic" Avocados that once mature are cold hardy down to 15 degrees. Plenty of Florida Prince Peaches, Chickasaw plums, hard to find Mulberries, (Rare) Figs, Nectarines, Self Fertile Plums, Pears, Olives, Persimmons along with tons of Edible, Medicinal, Native, and Pollinator plants. Hope to see you there.

I'm cleaning out my plants, removing all the pollen and leaves with my trusty hemostats. I even found a little garden buddy in one of my pots. Enjoy the beautiful day 🌞
