Just an information might be good to know:
Uponor PEX pipe is under on going lawsuit exactly the same situation to its predecessors such as Kitec and Quest pipe..
It seems there’s a lawsuit every 20-25 years against PEX type of pipe.
If it were copper the culprit would be installation such as bad joint due to flux not being cleaned or the water quality such as unfiltered well water.
Could we write it off as because it’s not copper plumbing standard 😉
