🏠 We got the slab poured on this 2bed/1bath ADU in Orangevale before the latest storms! This 748 sq. ft cottage was based off one of our stock designs and then customized for the clients needs. They wanted a larger kitchen and a sliding glass door!

Can ADU's help solve the housing crisis? Well it can only help!

One possible way to dramatically increase affordable housing, writes CalMatters housing reporter Ben Christopher, is the proliferation of “accessory dwelling units,” or ADUs. Typically small in size, these “backyard cottages” allow property owners to build a secondary dwelling on the same lot as their main residence and rent the place out for extra cash.

Accessory dwelling units could help solve California’s housing crisis, but as San Diego pushes the legal limits, not without controversy.
