Remember not to park underneath big trees in the summer , the branches are often heavier with lots of water this time of year and can break .

I remember removing Misteltoe from this beautiful oak tree several months back .

The tree was obviously very hollow , yet sturdy enough to trust my life in its branches . I could clearly see it had a big open cavity but the owners liked the tree and only wanted to remove the mistletoe to improve its health .

I hope with proper management this tree will last as long as possible.

It has concrete over the root zone , it had a big main piece cut off decades ago which caused it to become hollow .

This big oak tree was in Rescue California
