Konell Excavation is hiring a dependable Excavation Laborer to join our growing team. We are a well-established company doing residential and commercial work in Portland and Lake Oswego. This position includes opportunity for advancement.

Responsibilities include:
• Checking grade
• Installing utilities
• Sewer taps
• Rain drains
• Demolition site cleanup
• Organizing salvaged materials
• Shoveling, raking, sweeping
• Lifting and general labor
• Dust and erosion control

Requirements:
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to work 40–50 hours per week (no weekends)
• Pre-employment and random drug screening

Compensation & Benefits:

Excavation/Demolition company is currently accepting applications for a Excavation Operations Manager. We specialize in new construction, residential and commercial projects. We are currently looking for applicants who have a minimum of 5 years' experience in this field.

Residential Excavation Operations Manager requirements: Safely perform demolition on residential homes and excavate for new foundations. Perform sewer taps, install utilities and back fill residential homes. Applicant must know City of Portland and Lake Oswego ROW requirements. This position is very fast paced and requires a self-motivated and highly responsible person. All Excavation Operations Managers are required to give direction to other employees, schedule inspections and utility drops and complete projects on schedule. Responsibilities include daily maintenance and inspection on equipment. Perform weekly safety meetings. Pre-employment and random drug screening. Applicants must have clean driving record. Must be able to work with little or no supervision, complete daily reports and time sheets.

Duties include checking grade installing underground utilities, sewer/storm taps, rain drain and conduit construction. Performing Vac excavation and general cleanup of excavation and demolition sites.

This position requires shoveling, raking, sweeping, heavy lifting, cleaning up demolition debris, installing erosion control and driving 5 yard dump truck. Must have reliable transportation, pass pre employment drug screen and clean driving record. Must be dependable, and have an insurable DMV record.

This is a safety-sensitive position which requires operating company vehicles and equipment. You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test pre-employment and random. You must be able to pass a alcohol and drug test at any time.

You must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs., sit, stand, kneel, walk in rough uneven terrain and work in all weather conditions.

This is a safety-sensitive position which requires operating company vehicles and equipment around the Portland Metropolitan area. You must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test prior to employment and participate in random drug testing as required by DOT.

The position is full time, 40-50 hours a week, Monday through Friday. No weekends. Opportunity for long term employment.

Employment Expectations:
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Sit, stand, kneel and walk in rough uneven terrain
Work in all weather conditions
Maintain and clean truck weekly

Compensation:
$23-$30 per hour (paid from time leave the yard until return at end of day)
