SOLD!
So... I encountered an unforeseen expense and need to make a few bucks fast... So I'm selling my weird Camp/Bushcraft knife... It's nickel sanmai and it ended up grinding a little weird but it's one HELL of a user. It's O1 steel with a very acute bevel, but it works great as long as you use it properly. Don't stab concrete or torque the daylights out of it. That's all. It has white liners and pins. OD Green canvas micarta scales and it's nice and compact. Included is a horizontal carry sheath that works well if placed between the middle belt loop. The nickel pattern is actually really cool and kinda looks like a map or something. ..
Interested buyers DM me, but PLEASE understand I need funds at point of contact. Waiting will do me no good, and first to have funds and a decent offer takes it. ..
I usually don't sell my personal knives, but I kinda need to and this is my best user knife. I legit love using this one but I can always make another from monosteel down the road. ..

Ready for another forging session?
I got the new forge ready, outside. It's a beautiful evening and it's been a long time since I forged in my yard.

This is where it all began, a few years back.
Seems like yesterday.

Just got some new steel in, and can't wait to use it.

Good morning, everyone! I wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who stopped out to see us yesterday at the Blacksmith Gathering. It was really nice to meet yinz all and we appreciate all the love and support. Now that we're home, Jackson will probably be doing another live forging auction sometime this week. So keep an eye out!

Projects!
Only a small portion, but this was tonight.

Thanks to everyone that watched the live vid!
I had fun. The knife blank I forged is gonna be awesome. It's going to a "DAY 1" fan of mine who's been along for tge whole 4yr ride.

I'm glad he's finally getting a piece of my work. He's been supportive since DAY 1.

I respect my "DAY 1" fans. Yinz stayed thru the hard times you know the struggle i made so far.

I appreciate all of you.

Getting some projects ready to Go LIVE in a few minutes here.
I may try some crazy stuff, I may just keep it basic... but no matter what, another knife is getting forged tonight, and ITS GOING TO ONE OF MY VIEWERS.

I was unable to do another video tonight due to some unforeseen issues that required my attention... HOWEVER, I will (hopefully) be doing another LIVE video auction/demonstration tomorrow night (time undetermined, but not too late).

Since last nights auction got a little confusing, I will be finishing up the builds I had started, and I will auction/sell those off seperately. (Likely in the next day or two) So keep an eye out!

Personally, I enjoy engaging with an audience, and taking requests. I very much like the challenge of forging something in a timely manner, on the fly. It not only improves my skillset, but allows me to personally tailor a build to a potential buyer. I enjoy the questions, also. It makes for an enjoyable time for all.

(Big thanks to "Spicy Mike" for the format idea, shares, and support! He's been a great friend for a while, and I hope to get back in the shop with him soon. *ROAD TRIP!?*)

Working on some odd things today, including pens and removable scales for a customer's knife.
Also... Gathering up some builds to display at the 2020 Blacksmith Gathering, where you can catch me doing demos and forgewelding some steel for knives.

If you've ever asked me about, or are currently deciding on a handle material for your build... This may help a bit.

Also, keep in mind that I coat my handles sometimes to prevent intrusion of water/oil.

This article is also based on commercial knives, where custom work is usually more detail oriented and thought thru. (Also why I ask so many questions that may seem odd)
