Living in the North Georgia Mountains our calls take us to some beautiful places where we get to experience things like a mama bear with her three cubs ⛰️🐻

Brian turned around from where he was working on a sewer line and a cub was standing maybe 8 feet away from him staring at him like “what doing sir?” 🤨

I was on top of the hill they all came bounding up just watching. I know that poor mama is STRESSED out trying to wrangle them all with the way those cubs were acting 🤣

Safe to say we found the problem in this blocked up sewer line 🤪💩💦

Our customer has a cabin on top of a mountain in 📍Helen, GA that was experiencing a massive back up.

This sewer line ran 450 feet down the mountain. We met with the sewer department at the bottom of the mountain to check the manhole and the line was clear there, which meant the repair was the homeowners responsibility.

We ran our camera down the clean out to locate the blockage, exposed the pipe, cut a section out, jetted the line to clear the blockage, installed a clean out and ran the camera again. We found another blockage further down the line where we followed the same steps again.

Now he has access to his line every 150’-200’ for any future issues or blockages instead of a solid 450’ line that is only accessible on each end.

We got everything flowing with an hour to spare before guest checked into this Airbnb 😮‍💨

Nothing like a little supervision and moral support from the Boss Baby. He’s in his good job phase, constantly telling us and himself “good job!” even for the simplest of task 🤣

We spent Friday running calls as a family since everything on the schedule could be handled from the pickup truck, and the Boss Baby had been missing Dad after several long days working on a drain field install.

One of our stops was a septic inspection in 📍 𝙍𝙖𝙗𝙪𝙣 𝙂𝙖𝙥 for a customer purchasing a home.

What we found? A very misleading Polylok riser that gave access to a homemade cinder block septic tank dating back to 1956, that was no longer properly containing the effluent.

A repair permit has been issued, and once the closing is complete, we’ll be back next week to collapse the old tank and install a new one. ✅

𝗪𝗲’𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗧𝗿𝘂𝘁𝗵 💩

A customer called us out for a routine septic pump in 📍 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗶𝗹𝗮, 𝗚𝗔. He purchased his home in 2022 and wasn’t sure when the tank had last been pumped.

We opened it up and found mostly 𝑒𝒻𝒻𝓁𝓊𝑒𝓃𝓉…or as the Boss Baby calls it, “𝓅𝑜𝑜𝓅 𝓌𝒶𝓉𝑒𝓇” with very minimal solids.

So what did we do?

We told him he 𝐝𝐢𝐝𝐧’𝐭 need to pump it.

Now, we work for you and if you still want us to pump your tank, we absolutely will! But 𝙬𝙚 𝙬𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙩𝙤 𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙡 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙖 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙞𝙘𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙙𝙤𝙣’𝙩 𝙣𝙚𝙚𝙙 just to make a buck.

Georgia Department of Public Health recommends septic tanks generally be pumped every 3–5 years, but that’s not a one-size-fits-all rule. We’ve seen tanks go 10 years between pumpings, and we’ve seen others need pumping every year.

It all depends on the system, household size, usage, and what we find when we inspect the tank.

Our recommendation? Have your septic tank inspected every 3–5 years so you can see what kind of maintenance your system actually needs, if any.

Made the boss man take a first-day-of-school picture… can you tell how thrilled he is? 🤣🤓

Brian and I are both working toward our business management degrees at our local college, and he has a few classes on campus this semester. That means our Wednesday availability will be a little more limited through the end of December.

We’re both excited (and maybe a little crazy 😂) to be back in school for our 3rd semester because we hope to gain the knowledge we need to continue scaling this business into bigger and better things for the generations to come.

That boy on his leg is our why. ❤️

POV: you dropped your phone in a sump pump basin while changing the pump out and now your pictures look like they’re being taken from the after life because the camera has p**p water condensation.

We’ve been lacking on posting because we were waiting on a new phone to get here that wasn’t contaminated with p**p water because all Brian’s pictures looked like this 😅

Hall County has definitely helped keep us hustling this past week! 👏🏻 We serviced 5 of their 12 compactor sites, and let’s just say… if you think a septic tank or grease trap smells bad, you’ve never been around a compactor site. 🤢😅

We’re incredibly thankful for the work, and equally thankful for hot showers with lots of soap afterward! 🚿🤣

We’re officially in year 2 of our contract with Hall County, and it’s been a pleasure working with everyone on their team. We truly appreciate the opportunity and look forward to another great year of serving our community!
