Hey guys, I know this is very last-minute, but I am doing a non-profit ministry job for a lovely elderly couple that is pillars within our Church community and I could use some help. I am removing their old tub to install a walk-in shower which is necessary to allow for easy access off a wheelchair. I thought this was going to be a simple two day job, but I was unaware of the amount of tile that will need to come out. Basically to get a new walk-in shower installed I’m going to have to completely gut and rebuild their entire bathroom. I will be here for the next few days. If anyone would like to come get their hands dirty, I would certainly find things for you to do. Our shower was donated to us by YAIPAK but we will also need a 44” vanity which is a tough find so I pray right now in the name of Jesus that he provides a way. So if you happen to be free for the next few days or maybe just one day, let me know. Or if you’re busy and would rather just make a small donation towards the vanity fund, that would be appreciated too, and I can assure you all donations would be handled properly. Have a blessed day and I will post some pictures when we are finished.

Dang! What a journey this homemade hot tub has been. What started as a video I saw on Facebook, turned into an idea, turned into a mild obsession, turned into a money pit, turned HOT TUB! It’s pretty legit too I will add. Heated from 40 degree to 110 in a little over 2 hours. Once the heat was turned off, I let it set for about 2-3 hours to test how well I insulated. And it blew my freaking mind that it only dropped 2 degrees. Actually only 1 but that doesn’t sound believable. I have two separate systems plumbed in and can run together or separately with only the turn of a couple valves. 1 system for quick heat (propane) and the other (electric) for maintaining the toasty 104 degree liquid love. We got this baby places on the master deck which is our own little hideaway place away from everyone. Complete with cup holders, a head rest, and adjustable lighting. Coming soon, jet bubbles. Would have today but wanted it ready for Valentine’s Day. Duh. I forgot to get the wife anything so it was do or die on the hot tub. I have more videos of the build coming. Thanks for reading all this crap. You’re a real trooper.

People say to leave your mark on this world. Well, aight then. Every one of those hundreds of scratches are from me dragging my truck snd trailer out there and trying like hell to suceeed and to make my family proud and the Lord happy and probably doing a fairly decent job but feeling like I’m just spinning my wheels. Seeing this reminded me that the biggest mark (impact) you’ll have in this world will be at your own home.
