For this project, a return client had me back out for another round of custom land clearing. During the walkthrough, we discussed their desire for a “state park vibe.”

SAY LESS! 🗣️

I removed approximately 30 mature cedars, 5 young poplars, and a large pile of old timber and brush left behind from the ROW clearing.

I ordered a Ripper from D Attachments for my CAT 303.5 and put it right to work. The efficiency is unmatched! Once all the trees were dug up and pushed over, I cut the logs and rootballs down and hauled them out.

I rented a Vermeer 12” chipper from Sunbelt to chew through the tops and branches. Took the fine chippings, and spread them deeper into the wooded area as trail coverage for the kids.

The remaining decaying brush, old rootballs, and miscellaneous organic material was burnt on site.

The final step was Harley raking to prep the ground for seed and provide a smooth finish grade! The clients’ and their kids’ expectations were exceeded.

Mid week update❗️

The excavator had to go visit Dr. CAT for a quick coupler wedge malfunction. I’m sure they’ll get it squared away as quickly as possible. 💪🏽

As for us, we have to pivot and regear. We will be starting to assist our bush hogging clients, starting today!🤘🏽

We wrapped up this grading and erosion control project this week! 🤠

This client had an above ground pool installed this year, TWICE❗️
After hearing her troublesome story, we got a game plan together to resolve the grade difference and provide erosion control. 💪🏽

When finish grading around above ground pools, we will NEVER fully backfill with soil of any type. This traps moisture and brings forth unwanted burdens with the pool’s integrity.
We advise setting the excavating a few feet away and grading slope away from the pool, just like your home any other investment on your property. 🙌🏽
