We’re Asking Our Community for Work, Not Handouts ❤️
I’m coming to our community today asking for a little help—not a handout, but an opportunity to work.
Right now, we have a father and his young son staying with us after they lost their home. Both of his parents passed away this past year, and now he has lost his home as well. He and his little boy truly have nothing right now—not even a pot to p**s in.
His little boy has special needs, which makes it difficult for Dad to work as much as he normally would because he has to be there for his son. They have been staying with us, and we are doing everything we possibly can to help them.
But honestly, it is taking every dime we have to keep up with the extra electricity, food, household expenses, and everything else that comes along with having another family under our roof. We don't regret helping them—not for a second—but we are realizing that we need some help too.
We aren't asking anyone to just give us money. We're asking for WORK.
