It happens every single day to our clients, and it actually happened to us! I will scream from the rooftops ** YOU SHOULD BE REVIEWING YOUR HOMEOWNERS INSURANCE COVERAGE ANNUALLY ** 📣

We own a few rentals. And have always insured that they are Landlord policies at closing! Welllllll when your policies get renewed, accidents happen

You get the renewal notice in your mail or inbox and just think “oh cool” and go on with your life

Be honest, how many of y’all are actually opening that document and reviewing it? 🙈

Well, Kelly didn’t at first. And then after a few weeks, she opened that letter to find that our rental was renewed as a primary residence policy

And when you live in middle Tennessee where Tornados and storms happen, that’s risky business

If we needed to file a claim it would have been automatically denied because we weren’t living there 😭
