Following the addition of a sleek black metal roof by our friends at Preferred Roofing Solutions, the homeowners wanted an all black look. 🔥 After a few days of prep, lattice torn down and replaced with a modern look, we applied solid siding stain, gloss paint to windows and doors, and superdeck to the deck and handrails. All in SW Tricorn Black.

The third house we’ve done in the same road, this homes located in Rabun Gap with a lot of moisture and very little sunlight.
After washing and inspecting, we replaced siding, trim and window sills. Then we sanded and scraped all loose and peeling paint. Only then did we start the process of caulking and staining.

A whole lot of love went into this log siding house. First log wash. Then we used caulk to fill every “check” in the logs. After about full week of prep, we used Permachink’s log siding system. “Dark Natural” stain, satin topcoat. The trim was color matched to the gutters.
