🔨 Out with the old, in with something that works!

We’re finishing up this porch and deck rebuild today, and what a difference!

The original deck was a large structure that had been built and shaped around a pool that’s no longer there. Instead of keeping all that unused space, we tore down the old portion and rebuilt it into a smaller, more functional deck designed for how the homeowners use their outdoor space now. 🏡🛠️

From demolition and framing to laying the new decking, it’s been great watching this one take shape!

Sometimes a renovation isn’t about making something bigger — it’s about making the space work better for you.

Another project coming together for Johnson Construction! Stay tuned for the final results.🔨

Benson Screened Porch Update 🪵🔨
Progress is moving right along on our latest screened porch project!
Josh and the boys have been getting the framing locked in and the decking laid.
I love seeing these outdoor living spaces come together step-by-step. There’s nothing quite like taking an outdoor space and transforming it into a custom spot where a family can enjoy the breeze bug-free all season long.
Stay tuned for more updates as we get closer to the finishing touches!

🏡✨ This deck has served this family well, but it was time for something even better.

We’re transforming it into a beautiful screened porch where they can relax, entertain, and enjoy the outdoors through every season. 🌿☀️🍂

🔨 Here’s where the project started. Follow along as we take this project from an aging deck to a space this family will enjoy for years to come!

We can’t wait to show you the finished transformation. 👀

Standard door sizes don't always fit the plan! 🚪🔨
Our customer picked out, bought, and painted this gorgeous door from Home Depot, but to get it installed properly, Josh and Gage had to completely adjust the jamb from 4 inches to 6 inches.
A little custom reframing on site makes all the difference to ensure a seamless, professional fit. Love watching the guys solve these details to bring a homeowner's vision to life!
If you've got a home project that needs a little extra attention to detail, reach out to Johnson Construction!

Pantry Makeover Update!

We finally wrapped up the pantry transformation for our home, and I am so obsessed with the results! The difference between the chaotic wire racks and these custom, natural wood shelves is night and day.
Josh did such an incredible job bringing my vision to life. Having custom, built-in wooden shelving makes the space not only so much more functional and organized, but it adds such a warm, clean look to the whole area.

If your kitchen, pantry, or storage spaces need a functional upgrade, the team at Johnson Construction is here to help! Quality work, rooted in community.

They say the cobbler’s children have no shoes, but I’m making sure our pantry gets the upgrade it finally deserves! Josh and Gage are officially giving our pantry the Johnson Construction treatment. It’s so rewarding to see that same professional-grade craftsmanship and precision going into our own home. I can’t wait to share the final result once we’re finished.
