Completed this nice looking vinyl handrail project today, which replaced decaying wood handrails.

Just changed out the six decaying posts supporting a screen room. We used PostSaver sleeves on the new posts which will prevent ground line rot from degrading the new posts.

Just finished replacing this dock and pier on a local lake. The dock is 16ft. by 16ft. with a 2ft. by 16ft. dropped area across the outer end to facilitate easy access to small fishing boats. The pier leading out to the dock is 4ft wide by 30 ft long.

My client needed a toilet paper holder to match the vanity cabinet I built so I made him this one.

I've been building stuff since I was 8 or 10 years old, around 50 years now, but few projects bring me more pleasure than one that gives a new life to old wood.
I just finished this little vanity cabinet as part of a bath renovation of a fishing cabin on lake wendell. The visible parts of the cabinet are made from reclaimed framing timbers I tore out of a local farm house built in the year 1900. The timbers had severe powderpost beetle damage, rendering them unfit for structural use but I just couldn't bring myself to haul all of them to the landfill. Their rustic appearance on this cabinet will blend well with the cabin's decore and allow these beautiful old boards to serve a useful purpose for many years to come.

122 year old heart pine vanity cabinet finished with minwax, gunstock color, oil base stain and 4 coats of thinned polyurethane.
