More Progress at the Cottages

More houses are being prepped to come in next week. 5 more block foundations are installed with the houses getting placed next week.

Once this community is done, they will be a great addition to the local area close to town.

Another Project Complete ✅

Just wrapped up our part on this site: fresh grading done, utilities fully plumbed and hooked up, asphalt and lines are down, and the property is ready for the landscaping crew to lay down that new sod.

This spot should be opening up real soon. Proud of the Pine Knoll crew for another job done right.

Keeping a long-standing customer’s horse property in top shape

We’ve been involved with this property for over 10 years. We started with the big horse arena we built for them back many years ago. This time around, we’re back to refresh it: grading in fresh sand, laying new stone around the perimeter, and pouring a concrete pad in front of the stable plus a clean walkway from the house. The concrete pads are prepped and ready for the concrete crew to come in soon!

We also tackled the main horse field. Breaking up and hauling out tons of rock, bringing in fresh dirt, and grading everything smooth so it’s ready and usable.

(And if you look close in one of the shots, you’ll spot one of the very first metal buildings we ever constructed for them nearly 15 years ago. Still standing strong.)

Project Complete: Clarke County Fairgrounds 🎉

Over the past couple months, we’ve been hard at work at the Clarke County Fairgrounds building a canopy that will keep local visitors dry and out of the sun. There is going to be lots of exciting action this summer where this canopy will be put to good use.

All of our hard work has come to end here as we are moving to the next project. Check out the before and after picture, it’s always so cool to see just how far we’ve come from where we started.

Concrete Demo and Repair for North Mountain Fire Station

Our crew has mobilized and started working out at the North Mountain fire station to improve their everyday life so they can keep fighting fires in our community.

Their concrete pads leading into station are cracked and in need of repair. That’s where our crew comes in.

We are tearing out and building back better to get them more space to work and get moving quickly in times of emergency.

Stay tuned for the results, we can’t wait to get these guys back up and running, ready for whatever comes next.

New roof, stronger community.

We loved sitting down with Brad Broy, President of the Clarke County Fairgrounds, to hear how the new roof over the grandstands is going to make a real difference for everyone who gathers here.

From better protection from the elements to creating a more reliable space for fairs, events, and memories this will get lots of great use throughout this summer and the coming years.

We’re especially grateful for Brad’s kind words and the partnership we’ve built. It all started with a great conversation between him and our own Jeff and it turned into something special for Clarke County.

Huge thanks to Brad and the entire Fairgrounds team for trusting Pine Knoll with this project.

Two generations. One legacy.

60 years ago, my dad Garland built a small building at the Clarke County Fairgrounds and spent his younger days racing horses on the same grounds. He shared some amazing stories with us from his time horse racing and even got to see photos of the original building from back then compared to today.

Now, 60 years later, we’re building again for the fairgrounds. It’s a powerful reminder of the rich history of projects we’ve worked on over the years.

From the racetrack to the rebuild, the Pine Knoll legacy continues.
