Walking in the door from work this morning, I am met with such a feeling of being blessed. I get to spend my Mother’s Day with my six favorite humans that call me Mom. To me, there is no greater thing on this earth. Happy Mothers Day to all of my fellow Queens out there. Enjoy your day 💕💐

Ran to grab milk at our local Dairy today before I have to pick up kids from the bus. So I felt it a good time to give a little shout out to The Creamery at K**b Farm. I got to meet one of the sweet owners today. She said “are you the one buying all of the pints?” 😂 If you have never tried their milk, I highly recommend you do so. I find myself there every week, sometimes twice a week! (We go through a lot of the chocolate milk pints 😂). As you can see, I always grab one for the road as well. Fun fact, chocolate milk is the best recovery drink after a run or working out. Go see them, I promise you will thank me later. 🐄

Thank you Grace Grown Farm, for such a cute event! The Caldwell girls had a blast! We love supporting our community, especially the fellow farms who genuinely grow their own flowers (not buy them elsewhere and sell them as their own as “arrangements” 😅) The owners are so sweet, and clearly take pride in their sweet farm. I will enjoy my fresh cut tulips 🌷 💕 we got bracelets from Linked Bracelets, and a hoagie from South Side Subs. It was a fun day!

Fun fact, Peonies take 2-3 years to really establish before they come out with beautiful blooms. Its a game of patience but its definitely worth it! This year, I planted close to 50 of these beauties. They have their own garden. I cannot wait to see how beautiful they are are in a couple of years! Also…. Peep my Black Eyed Susans. They are all coming in nicely this year.

One of my favorite flowers (Ranunculus) love the cooler weather. In fact, when it gets hot they are not happy and really stop being as beautiful. So I am taking advantage of this last couple of weeks before we are out of frost warnings to plant these babies so they thrive. Cannot wait for them to start blooming 💐🌷

I am beyond ready for my greenhouse to be built 😂 I have outgrown my living room! Check out the apple tree I am propagating…. Brielle and I took cuttings this afternoon and got them in dirt so they can develop roots.

Every year, I try something new. I am sometimes disappointed, sometimes amazed at what works! This year, I threw some tomato seeds in old TP rolls (recycle right?!) which you then plant directly into the ground where it naturally composts the plant. I am so excited to see how these little guys do. I also am experimenting with tree cuttings to establish new trees. I just ordered more plant hormone to try multiplying my dahlias as well. What a fun thing to do 😊

Out with the old, in with the new…..we had several (like 15 😳) trees cut down around the farm. They were old/dying and endangering the barn or other areas. I am a firm believer in when you cut trees you need to plant new. So I replaced them with new trees. Cannot wait for the next 5-10 years when these beauties are flowering! I also planted Honeycrisp apple trees. Cannot wait for them to start producing! 🍎
