Quick lesson: when part of a structure collapses, what’s still standing isn’t automatically safe. Connections can be damaged, and the remaining supports may be carrying loads they weren’t designed for. Keep clear and have it assessed before anyone starts pulling pieces. 🚧

Because “my buddy has a truck and a chain” is how the second insurance claim starts. 🫠

💥 GCs, HERE’S ONE FOR YOUR NEXT JOBSITE DEBATE…

Crushed concrete can absorb CO₂ from the air.

Concrete naturally takes in carbon dioxide through a chemical process called carbonation. Crushing it during demolition exposes more surface area, allowing it to absorb CO₂ more readily.

So that old slab? Even after retirement, it’s still doing chemistry. 🧪😂
