Exciting news!
Evergy has renewed their energy incentives for another year, and at Semrad Electric, our goal is to help commercial customers take full advantage of this free money.

Businesses can qualify simply by upgrading old fluorescent lighting to new LED lighting which lowers energy bills and improves lighting quality, while Evergy helps cover the cost.

If your home has an outdated panel, you could be dealing with:

1. Breakers that don’t trip when they should
2. Overheating or burn marks

Have you took a close look at your breaker panel lately? Do you have Zinsco or Federal Pacific electrical panels? These panels have a high faulty rate and dangerous fire risk.

Zinsco and Federal Pacific electrical panels were manufactured and installed from 1950s to 1980s. They're known for their faulty breakers and bus bars. You may notice occasional flickering lights, and outlets that may not work throughout your home. Zinsco and Federal Pacific electrical panels pose a high fire risk.

Semrad Electric LLC had a recent job to replace a Zinsco electrical panel with a new Square D Homeline panel. The home owners were having issues with flickering lights, lights not working "randomly" at times, and issues with their electrical outlets. Upon evaluating the electrical panel, we found that the electrical panel was a Zinsco. The breakers were becoming hot enough to melt, and the breakers were not tripping as they should when overheating. When replacing the panel, the breakers were deteriorating and crumbling to the touch.

There are many options for updating residential lighting. Can lights are a great way to give a dim room a brighter look. This couple wanted an updated kitchen fixture and two can lights to light up the room. We took the time to lay plastic, and did a sweep clean after the project was complete.
They also requested for us to replace their exterior light with a motion sensor light. We made all their requests happen in a very timely manner (3.5 hours).
Did you know? A common issue with exterior lights, the motion sensors or photo cells stop working over time. There are a couple options, we can replace the entire exterior light with a fixture you love or we can replace the sensor. We find what works best for your budget and your preferences to ensure customer satisfaction for all your lighting needs.
