Our team enjoyed hosting SMPS Tampa Bay’s March Board Meeting at our Clearwater office. WDA curated our space to foster a community built on collaboration and knowledge sharing, so it was a pleasure to open our doors to one of the strongest professional organizations in the Tampa Bay region serving the A/E/C industry.

WDA’s headquarters located in Clearwater, Florida, provides ample opportunities for internal and external collaboration. The new space ensures our studio can deliver projects of all sizes, while remaining characteristically focused on high-design solutions, functionality and exceptional client service.

“With a legacy of more than three decades in the region, it made sense for our office workspace to reflect a connection to each other, our clients and more importantly foster spaces for successful teamwork and friendship,” said owner Ted Williamson.

The office was designed by our Senior Interior Designer, Sarah Hodges, who has led WDA’s Interior Design efforts for the past four years. “We’ve built a culture centered on shared knowledge, and this space allows the best ideas to flow—something I’m incredibly proud of,” said Hodges. Prior to joining the team, Sarah’s portfolio included a significant number of tenant improvement projects within the Tampa Bay region.

WDA is proud to highlight a recent project completion that prioritizes enhanced safety and improved fleet resiliency for Pasco County, Florida, Government and GOPASCO. The state-of-the-art, seven-bay, facility provides 14,500 SF of fleet maintenance space. The overall project includes a new bus parking lot, a new emergency generator, a state-of-the-art Permex Oilwatch fluid dispensing system, as well as on-site storage and associated support areas for the fleet management team.

WDA’s Boca Raton office is proud to support this year’s Thanksgiving Box Brigade food drive, hosted by Boca Helping Hands. This annual program provides families across Palm Beach County with a turkey and a box filled with everything needed to prepare a full holiday meal. With one in nine families facing food insecurity, alongside rising food and housing costs—the need is greater than ever! Boca Helping Hands leads this effort with a mission rooted in: Service | Compassion | Dignity | Self-Sufficiency. As a team we are honored to stand alongside an organization that embodies these values and delivers meaningful impact throughout our community. It’s our hope that we’re able to play a small part in ensuring 4,000 local families can celebrate a warm and joyful Thanksgiving. Together, we can make a meaningful impact!

Williamson Design Associates (WDA) will be in full force at the 2025 FEFPA summer conference. WDA’s Education Design leaders, Ted Williamson, PE, AIA, LEED AP, Teddy Williamson, PE, Jessica Sumner-Wells, AIA, NCARB and Mike Pruitt, RA will be in attendance along with our Marketing and Business Development professionals, Samantha Cummins and Jennifer Rees.

As usual, the WDA booth will have a fun and challenging activity. Participants will have the opportunity to win a “cool” WDA raffle prize!

WDA was honored to support our state’s Veteran community by providing architectural and interior design services for Palm Beach State College’s Veteran’s Success Center. The space was designed to create an intimate environment centered around assisting veterans, current military service members and their families. WDA reimagined the 2,300 square foot center providing dedicated spaces for social and recreational lounge space, computer labs, study areas, as well as a private conference room and offices for the college’s full-time staff.

With over a decade of dedication to St. Petersburg College, we are proud to announce the recent project award for SPC’s Law Enforcement and Corrections Training Facility. WDA kicked off design earlier this year, alongside our CM partner The A.D. Morgan Corporation. We look forward, with anticipation, to the ribbon cutting for the program’s graduates!
