Teamwork creates meaningful impact.

On July 29, our WDA team joined Verdex Constructionfor a backpack build event benefiting Palm Beach County students. We were also pleased to welcome representatives from
The School District of Palm Beach County to participate alongside us as we packed backpacks with essential school supplies for the upcoming school year.

This volunteer effort supports a larger community initiative dedicated to helping students start the school year prepared and ready to learn. It was a great opportunity to come together, give back, and make a meaningful difference for local families.

We're looking forward to continuing our support on August 6 at the 3rd Annual CBS 12 Stuff the Bus event at Office Depot on Okeechobee Boulevard in West Palm Beach. Together with our community partners, we're helping provide resources to students with 36,000 fully stocked backpacks to 55 of our School District Title 1 schools.

WDA, in partnership with McMillan Pazdan Smith , is working alongside Palm Beach State College (PBSC) to provide architectural and engineering design services for the renovation and expansion of the Main Library on PBSC's Lake Worth campus.

As the design continues to progress, we're excited to share a glimpse of the vision for this transformative project. The reimagined library is designed to support the evolving needs of students with expanded study and meeting spaces, a student learning center for tutoring services, technology support, a café, flexible community engagement spaces, and a new three-story addition that will serve as a vibrant student hub.

This project reflects PBSC's commitment to creating spaces that foster learning, collaboration, and connection, and we're proud to be the team bringing that vision to life.

A strong roof protects more than a building; it protects the place where learning happens.



We're proud to have supported The School District of Palm Beach County with Architectural & Engineering (AE) services for the re-roofing of Lincoln Elementary School. Our team completed a comprehensive assessment of the existing roof system and developed the final design for 129,255 SF of built-up roofing over lightweight concrete on metal deck and steel bar joists.

Projects like this reflect what has defined our educational architecture practice for over 30 years: partnering with school districts to deliver thoughtful roofing and building envelope solutions that extend the life of facilities and support the communities that rely on them.

Our team enjoyed hosting SMPS Tampa Bay’s March Board Meeting at our Clearwater office. WDA curated our space to foster a community built on collaboration and knowledge sharing, so it was a pleasure to open our doors to one of the strongest professional organizations in the Tampa Bay region serving the A/E/C industry.

WDA’s headquarters located in Clearwater, Florida, provides ample opportunities for internal and external collaboration. The new space ensures our studio can deliver projects of all sizes, while remaining characteristically focused on high-design solutions, functionality and exceptional client service.

“With a legacy of more than three decades in the region, it made sense for our office workspace to reflect a connection to each other, our clients and more importantly foster spaces for successful teamwork and friendship,” said owner Ted Williamson.

The office was designed by our Senior Interior Designer, Sarah Hodges, who has led WDA’s Interior Design efforts for the past four years. “We’ve built a culture centered on shared knowledge, and this space allows the best ideas to flow—something I’m incredibly proud of,” said Hodges. Prior to joining the team, Sarah’s portfolio included a significant number of tenant improvement projects within the Tampa Bay region.
