Feel-good moment….. thank you card from a neighbor whose siding blew down in a wind storm. We reinstalled what fell and replaced what was damaged.

If you have any damage to your home from any sort of wind storm, keep us in mind.

This homeowner experienced wind damage this past January. It started with a few panels, then with each windy day, it got progressively worse, till it was the entire midsection, from the windows down to the meter. (Wish we got a “before” pic😕). The job was more than just reinstalling what fell down….. many pieces had to be replaced due to the brittle nature of old vinyl siding. The entire side had to be removed and reinstalled to properly secure each panel fully into studs, so this doesn’t happen again. It was discovered that many of the original panels had only 2-3 of the 8 nails in studs and the others were not, therefore the panels were susceptible to blowing down.
