FLOAT -- You're Invited!

Who: Class of 1995 (open to family members)
What: Float
Where: Elk River (Yak House)
When: Sunday, August 24 at 1:30

Enjoy a float on the Elk River with a commercial tube (headrest and cup holder). We’ll meet at the Yak House in Clendenin and get dropped off a mile up the river then float back to the Yak House (about 1 mile/2 hours). There are 20 tubes, so no more reservations can be taken after that. But if you have your own tube, you’re welcome to join in on the float without paid reservations.

Total cost: $35 per person (a tip jar is available if you experience excellent service on site)

Register by Friday, August 11 so we know if it’s full (and our group has priority).

Time commitment depends on the water level and currents, but expect to be finished around 3:30 p.m.

Arrival: please arrive between 1-1:15 p.m. to complete waivers and receive safety information.

Free Parking: Yak House, 403 Elk Avenue W, Clendenin, WV 25045

Additional information:
- Minimum age: 6
- Life jackets are included but not required (except for kids)
- Bathroom/changing facilities available on site at the Yak House.
- Feel free to bring your lunch. An optional cooler float can be included on the float.
- Transportation up the river to be dropped off is included.
