The GDN is growing, and these folks are a shining example of where a positive mindset can take you!

During our first show in September, we had the pleasure of sharing a room with a number of fellow GDN members, and we had a blast! Thanks, Bright AV (), for the family reunion!

It was particularly fun seeing my husband, Caleb Isenhour (A2) and our long time friend, Zach Johnson (A1) in the same space. They were fantastic, as was our friend Eli Daughtry, who held down the fort (literally- the tech drape fort was immaculate 😆) on Camera. We had some excellent intellectual discussions, especially as it came to dissecting our video village. Huge shoutout also to our V1, James Bangs (), for your shared wisdom and insightful discussions!

You gotta learn more to earn more! Put enough GDN in a room, and it's not long before iron is sharpening iron.

Hour 10 of show day, and the cue still has to land.

Jessica Isenhour AV, owner of CJMedia, took her new COMMS CM-i5 headset out on her last gig.

Her take:
“Shoutout to my new headset for ensuring my calls sounded crystal clear AND helping me look good while calling them!”

If you work in concert venues, front of house, broadcast, or theatre, you know the headset goes on early and comes off late. Rehearsal, load-in, doors, show. Through all of it, your calls have to be heard, and you have to stay comfortable and focused.

An in-ear headset keeps things slim and light, so it stays low-profile whether you’re in video control, at front of house, or moving between the two. The CM-i5 Jessica is wearing uses a slim, light condenser microphone designed for clarity and comfort.

Looking good doing it is a bonus. ✨

This show introduced me to "the moat", and now I'll never see DSMs any other way... 😅🦈

Back in August, I had the chance to call another fabulous production, alongside the incredible edgefactory () team! 👩🏼‍💻

Truly, a ✨flawless✨ production, made possible only by the incredible pre-production efforts and intentional on-site performance of our amazing team, including the fearless leadership of Simon Yorinks ().

💪🏼 Shoutout to our ultra talented LD, George Jackson, who pulled off one of the coolest pre-production hacks by virtually constructing our show in Unreal Engine to simulate all of our lighting cues during table reads. 💡

Huge thanks also to Caleb Isenhour on Graphics, Caleb Jarvis on ProPresenter, Anthony Pierini on camera, and extra thanks to Carlos Peña for keeping us all well caffeinated all week! ☕️

Just WOW! 🤩 Calling cues to a room of 4,000 attendees is one thing... 👩🏼‍💻
..But giving the "G-O" to a locked in crew, such as this one, is next level! 📈

A crew who bands together lands together. 🛬 I could not have flown, let alone soared, in this atmosphere if it weren't for my crew who helped execute this truly extravagant production in good ol' San Francisco this past July!🔥

From pre-production to implementation, every heavy lift wouldn't have been possible if it weren't for the teamwork and positive attitude maintained by this team. 👏🏼

Huge shoutout to our rockstar GS leadership, including our A1 Craig Jeppesen, LD Rhys Keirnan (Rhys Kiernan), V1/TD Scott Braun (Dream Street Productions), and my husband and Millumin/Media Server Op, Caleb Isenhour (Caleb Isenhour | VP of CJMedia), and thanks to Dan Kime (Daniel Kime) and the CDK Events (CDK Events) team, Valerie Moro and Sephera Dandurand (Sephera Chiyoko), for bringing us together.
