Clear span is why you see steel web trusses on open pole barns like this.
The trusses span the full width of the building without a center row of posts, leaving the entire floor open for equipment, trailers, vehicles, or whatever the building needs to accommodate.
On a 30x60, that open interior makes a big difference. The building footprint is only part of the equation — how much of that space you can actually use matters just as much.
