🚁 Not your average morning on the job for Local 83! 💪
Things were looking up this morning at the new Niagara Bottling Plant as members of Sheet Metal Workers Local 83, working alongside fellow union members from Local 7, took part in an impressive helicopter lift operation!
A total of 22 air handling units were flown into place, with each unit taking approximately just three minutes to set!
This was a great display of the skill, precision, and teamwork that our union tradespeople bring to the job every day.
We're proud to see Local 83 members helping bring this exciting project to life!
Great work by everyone involved!
Local 83 Strong! 💪🚁

Great pictures of one of SMART Local 83’s newest signatory contractors, **RMB Heating & Cooling**, during a recent visit from **New York State Assemblyman Angelo Santabarbara**, who had the opportunity to tour their shop!

It’s great to see our newest signatory contractor receiving recognition and having the opportunity to showcase their operation, their skilled workforce, and the quality work they provide throughout our area.

**Local 83 is proud to welcome RMB Heating & Cooling as a signatory contractor and looks forward to a strong and successful partnership for many years to come!**

📸 PHOTOS from my tour of RMB Mechanical. A look inside local manufacturing in my hometown of Rotterdam! 🏭

It’s impressive to see this kind of work being done locally — combining manufacturing, skilled trades and construction to support projects across our region. I got an up-close look at their fabrication operation, where skilled workers produce custom sheet metal and piping for commercial and industrial projects 🔧

My thanks to Brendan and Ryan Brown and the entire RMB team for welcoming me and showing me around. Proud to see a local business investing, growing and making things right here in our community! 🇺🇸
