Hello Clinton County and surrounding areas. How are you all doing today? Hopefully you are all having a fantastic week so far and my family and I wish you all a terrific week for the rest of the week. I'm going to touch base on w few different things in this post.
*Starting out, we have had some technical difficulties on our end with messenger. We are working on that getting solved. If anyone is aving trouble contacting us, please email [email protected]
*Next, my husband was in the hospital over the weekend for his heart. Yes, again. We are working as closely as we can with IA City to get to the bottom of this but it's not easy without reliable transportation there and back. He was wearing a 30 day event monitor but sadly, that cracked and the screen wasn't working. Imagine our luck to have it happen the same day as a very scary "episode" which left us scrambling to get him to the hospital. As some of you know, we are not fond of our local hospital. They once again said he was just fine and implied it was all in his head. Having been born with a congenital heart defect where 90% of the individuals born with this defect that had the mustard procedure which was discontinued back in 1985 (revised since, several times since), passed away before their 1st birthday. The rest don't usually name it to 30. My husband is 38 in a few days. He was also one of the 5 babies from 1979-85 that were snuck in with the mustard procedure after it was shut down. 4 babies passed. He was electrocuted (electric shock) at the end of August which put his already very damaged heart into more danger.
The fact that the event monitor wouldn't work really put a damper on the things. We needed that information sent over to IA City to see what his heart is doing since the electrocution. With that, they can discuss the next plan of action. Unfortunately we are stuck at this point of time and taking things day by day. I'm determined to keep my husband alive.
*Moving on, The girls were doing a "contest" too get so many likes but sadly, it didn't really go anywhere. I told them to try again with a different approach so keep a watch out for that.
*With Autumn in full swing and winter on it's way, the kids are open for end of season mows, leaf removal (taking, blowing and bagging) and of course, shoveling. If you are needing our services, please let me know.
I hope you all enjoy the rest of this year and I'll be stopping in with updates as we go. Thank you all for your support throughout the year, we really appreciate you! And a HUGE THANK YOU to all the our clients that have let the kiddos service you this summer, you are absolutely beautiful! Thank you to the bottom of our hearts!
