This is Tracy Mosley-Boeschen and in the last 2 weeks I have had a few of these guys make their way to my deck. Not quite sure where they are coming from yet, but I know they pack a punch when they get you! Has anyone else noticed them?

Red imported fire ants are an aggressive species of ants commonly found in the South and West. Read up on red fire ants (RIFA) and fire ant control.

As we wrap up the month of May, let's talk about current pest issues and those that are coming up!

After all the rain and crazy weather we've had in our area, the pests at the top of the list have been ants, flies, termites, ticks, and mice. (Just to mention a few)

Once we get past the rainy season, we will begin to encounter more wasps, mosquitoes, spiders, Japanese beetles, and fleas along with the above mentioned pests and MORE!
