Our team has designated the first Friday of every month for a monthly breakfast. This event demonstrates our gratitude for our team's hard work. We appreciate the managers who make an effort to attend and make it happen. Building a positive work culture where employees feel valued beyond their paycheck is our goal.

Last Saturday we had our inaugural SchoggenScapes Family day! We have held a season kickoff celebration for our team members for a number of years, but this year we decided to include team members' families. Although the weather was not ideal (we had over 3" of rain Saturday morning) our team adapted, just as we do on the job, and we pulled off a successful event.

In addition to the great food provided by Mudbugs and the beverages provided by Brown Bottling Group we had a bounce house for the kids. We also had a raffle where we gave away items donated by our partners.

We are thankful to all of our partners that help us be successful and helped make this event possible.

With this week being Safety Week for the Construction Industry we wanted to reflect on safety awards that we have received. At SchoggenScapes we are dedicated to safety; we start each day with a safety huddle and stretch. On Tuesdays we have a deeper dive into a specific topic to offer continuing education to all of our team members. We are grateful for our hardworking team and we often emphasize that we want them to return home each day just as they arrived.

The award is our Best of the Best from the National Association of Landscape Professionals that was presented last year. We were 1 of 4 companies who received this award throughout the US and Canada.

Not only is it Friday, it is the First Friday of the month. That may not mean a lot to you but at SchoggenScapes, it means BREAKFAST! On the First Friday of every month our management staff cooks breakfast for all of our team members. This month was Breakfast on a Bun. A special thanks goes out to "Chef Andrew" for putting all this together and cooking!
