Today we want to highlight our Accounting Coordinator, Lacey Goth!

A day in the office for Lacey is often spent collecting invoices from our technicians and carefully processing each one to ensure everything is accurate, updated, and ready for payment. She reviews incoming invoices, verifies the necessary information, and makes sure each expense is properly recorded and accounted for.

Outside of the office, Lacey enjoys spending quality time with her family and making the most of their time together. Whether it’s relaxing at home, or simply enjoying each other’s company, family is an important part of her life. In her free time, Lacey also loves to read and enjoys getting lost in a good book whenever she gets the chance!

Today, we want to introduce Ian Mendenhall!

In the office, Ian plays an important role in keeping our financial and billing processes organized and running smoothly. His day-to-day responsibilities include processing invoices, setting up new vendors in our system for payment and future use, conducting audits, and assisting with a variety of special projects. He also accurately logs reports and payments into our system, and helps resolve billing-related questions or concerns.

Outside of the office, Ian enjoys spending quality time with his wife, family, and friends. Together, he and his wife love traveling, going to the lake, and attending school events to support his stepson and niece. Ian also enjoys working in the yard, taking care of his chickens, and spending time with the people closest to him. Ian and his wife are also looking forward to an exciting new chapter as they prepare to welcome a baby boy in February!

To kick off the week, we want to introduce our Accounting team!

Starting with our Accounting Supervisor, Angel Ferrin!

During the day, Angel collects invoices from our team, and processes vendor payments. She also creates customer invoices and keeps SecureNets financial operations running smoothly. Angel also stays in touch with vendors and customers to help resolve account-related issues.

Out of the office, Angel enjoys spending time with friends and family. She also loves true crime documentaries, and baking delicious goods!

Angel is the sweetest person you’ll ever come across. Her hugs and sweet words have the power to make ur day at any given time. We love having Angel on our team here at SecureNet!

To end the week, we want to introduce our Communications Liaison, Wesley Willings!

Wes primarily supports Matt Kidwiler by following up on dispatched work orders and helping ensure each project progresses smoothly. His responsibilities include communicating with technicians by phone and email, confirming that services are scheduled promptly, and monitoring each work order through completion. Wes also follows up on outstanding repair needs, assists in coordinating any necessary next steps, and helps ensure all work is completed accurately and in a timely manner.

Outside of the office, Wes is the Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 430, which keeps him busy most of the time. Wes also enjoys hanging out with his family and friends when he has free time outside of work and Scouts!

We are so glad to have Wes be part of our team!

Today we want to introduce our Director of Life Safety Systems, Neil Shanks!

Neil’s work days are often unpredictable. As he coordinates with customers and technicians to solve issues, he enjoys the busy days and the challenges that come with it! Neil works closely with our team in the office to solve complex problems our customers face with their Life Safety Systems, while providing them the quality and customer support that is expected from him. His position requires him to learn something new every day, and rely on the expertise and knowledge of our team to work through new challenges in an efficient manner.

Outside of the office Neil loves spending time with friends and family, especially in the outdoors! He loves taking his wife and kids hunting, fishing, and camping! Their family just recently bought a new boat, and they’ve enjoyed taking it out on the weekends! Neil also loves woodworking and learning how to build new things!

We love having Neil as part of our team!

Today we want to highlight Cody Westendorff!

Cody serves as SecureNet’s Director of Security, creating installation and repair work orders for our large commercial customers. He manages major security camera and alarm system projects while coordinating with technicians nationwide to ensure every job is completed efficiently and accurately. Cody also provides daily technical support to our customers and technicians, ensuring they receive the exceptional service, quality, and resources they expect from SecureNet.

Outside of the office, Cody enjoys spending quality time with his children and staying involved in his community by coaching youth sports. Cody is also a huge Kansas City Chiefs fan and loves to attend games at Arrowhead Stadium!

We are so lucky to have someone as dedicated as Cody in the office with us!

Today, we want to highlight one of our hardest workers! Director of Life Safety Inspections, Matt Kidwiler!

A typical day in the office for Matt often looks like, managing customers fire & life safety inspections that are nearing a due date, dispatching upcoming inspections to keep our customers in compliance, and uploading reports and other data received from completed inspections and service calls. Matt also works closely and communicates with our incredible team here at SecureNet!

Outside of work, Matt values his time with family, and being in the outdoors! He has a wife and 3 kids, who keep life busy with their packed teenage schedules! When Matt has some free time, he enjoys all things hunting and fishing! When it’s not hunting season, Matt is still on the farm preparing for his favorite time of the year!

Matt is one of the most genuine people you’ll ever come across! He always says hello, asks about your weekend, and attentively listens during conversation. Our appreciation for Matt extends so much further than his performance in the office. It’s his heart, and his character that makes him an incredible part of our SecureNet team!

To start the week, we want to highlight our Fire & Life Safety Account Manager, Garrett Hilte!

In the office, Garrett writes and manages work orders for emergency lighting, generators, and inverter repairs and maintenance. At the same time, Garrett is staying in contact with our customers and keeping them up to date throughout the entire process of what’s going on in their facilities. Garrett also coordinates tasks with our team, while always bringing a positive attitude to the office each day. People like Garrett remind us daily how blessed we are to have such an awesome crew here at SecureNet!

Outside of the office, Garrett spends his time with his beautiful wife and 2 young children, who keep his life busy and entertaining! As a family, they enjoy taking weekend trips to visit friends and family, going on dune buggy rides, and cruising the streets of Montrose together in their family golf cart. When Garrett has time to himself, he enjoys working on cars and small engines in his shop, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his close friends!

We are so grateful to have Garrett with us every day!

Today we’re highlighting our very own, Lewis Thomas!

Lewis is our Director of Life Safety. During the week he works with our wonderful internal team, coordinating with customers and technicians to make repairs and resolve issues. Lewis is always on top of ensuring that issues are handled efficiently and our customers are receiving the support they need. His ability to communicate, coordinate, and problem-solve plays an important role in keeping our daily operations running smoothly and delivering the dependable service our customers expect from us.

Outside of the office, Lewis enjoys his time in the great outdoors. Whether he’s fishing, hunting, or camping, he enjoys any opportunity to get outside and make the most of his free time. He also enjoys traveling with friends and family, exploring new places, and spending quality time with those around him. Lewis is a light to all who know him! We are so grateful to have him here at SecureNet!

Today we want to introduce our Senior Director of Life Safety, Matt Walden!

Matt spends his days at work assisting our clients with their Life Safety needs so they can focus on efficiently running their business, rather than constantly working on the maintenance of their facilities. He makes sure all customers are in compliance with any codes or standards required of them, and he assists our technicians with any needs as they arise.

The knowledge that Matt brings to our team here at SecureNet is beyond measure. He is a problem solver through and through, and has been a great mentor to everyone here in the office. Our appreciation for Matt, extends further than a simple post could ever reach!

Outside of work, Matt enjoys his time with family. He’s loved stepping into the role of a grandpa, and cherishes his time with the grandkids. He also enjoys building and working on vehicles, especially custom vehicles and race cars. Matt used to spend a lot of his time skydiving, however he’s been unable to go for the past couple years.
