So proud of Luke, Drake and Tylar this summer.

Ty works at Mission Springs - Frontier Ranch Christian camp in Santa Cruz and invited Drake and Luke to come up and be counselors for the hundreds of kids that come in each week. The boys sacrificed their summer to go up and minister to the kids. They were responsible their kids 24 hours a day, six days a week, throughout the summer.

When we visited, it was so impressive to see Luke and Drake caring for these kids at such a deep level because they understood the mission: Teach the kids about Jesus so that they accept him into their heart as their Lord and Savior. I believe this summer has changed them forever as they were able to see up close what The Great Commission feels like as you live it out.

It was also impressive to see how Ty was able to balance OUTSTANDING Christian leadership in his work duties, including very difficult employee decisions, and leading his family well in balancing his laborious schedule. You can tell that Ty truly loves his job and loves his family, and it was beautiful to see him do both well. Thank you Ty for showing your brothers that their generation can be a strong Christian men in this current world that they live in.

Happy birthday to my very best friend. All the highs and lows that God has allowed in our life has drawn us so close to one another. I literally want to do everything with you, you are truly my best friend and I am so glad that God has given us this life that He has so that we can appreciate each each others strengths and weaknesses as well as we do. I cannot imagine a better mother for my children and grandma for our grandchildren. You exceed my expectations every day and I thank God for you in my life. I love you so much, babe. Happy birthday!
