Finished project before and after. Notice the small changes that make a big difference. the brick added to the posts of the patio and bubbling water fountains for a focal point. We added synthetic lawn, cement for the patio, retaining wall in the front yard and plantings.

When bees fly from flower to flower nectar sticks to their legs. Some modern definitions of the phrase "bee's knees" means "sweet and good", because the knees of the bee are where all the sweet, good nectar is collected. More traditional U.S. definitions of the phrase meant "the height of excellence".

Our plant specialist, Vicki saw these two bicycles in our customers yard and she learned the bikes had belonged to our customers' mother and father. Vicki suggested planting flowers in the baskets and chose begonias after learning that the parents lived in Capitola, CA. Capitola is where the annual Begonia Festival is held.

What does it mean April showers bring May flowers?
The rhyme was originally a short poem. There is meaning behind the words, as well. “April showers bring May flowers” is a reminder that even the most unpleasant of things, in this case the heavy rains of April, can bring about very enjoyable things indeed – in this case, an abundance of flowers in May.

There are approximately 4000 species of daisies that differ in size, shape, color and type of habitat.

They are found on every continent except Antarctica.

Daisies can live in both wet and dry climates, and they are resistant to pesticides and insects.

Not a picky plant, daisies grow well both in full sun and in part sun or shady areas.
