Shamfull give him prison time
Man smiles in mugshot after beating neighbor who tried to bury his dog alive. When a local man was released with only community service after attempting to bury his own dog alive and abusing it for years, the neighborhood was seething with anger.
One ex Marine and lifelong dog lover had seen enough. He walked straight over, fists clenched, and told him: “Try picking on someone who can fight back.” Moments later, the abuser lay beaten on his own front lawn. Police arrived to find the Marine standing quietly, blood on his knuckles, a calm grin stretched across his face.
He left in handcuffs, but with a defiant smile on his face.
The dog is safe with a rescue. The abuser? He quietly moved out of town and never came back.
When asked why he did it, the Marine said simply:“Dogs deserve defenders too.”
