A hillside doesn’t have to remain wasted space.

Our crew transformed this steep slope with boulder walls, granite steps, a natural-stone patio and a curved sitting wall around a granite fire feature.

What was once an awkward slope is now an inviting place for family and friends to gather—and it feels at home in the surrounding landscape.

Have an overlooked area with more potential than purpose? Let’s reimagine it.

This backyard had a low, soggy area that struggled every time it rained. Instead of fighting the water, we worked with it — creating a functional rain garden with river rock, boulders, stepping stones, and layered plantings that help manage runoff while adding year-round interest.

Practical can still be beautiful.

Behind the scenes looking through some beautiful fountainscape rocks for an upcoming project! We’re always drawn to pieces with natural texture, lovely shape, and plenty of character—the kind of stone that feels like it already belongs in the landscape.

We wrapped up this backyard project last week and couldn’t be happier with the result! A natural stone walkway, fresh plantings, boulder accents, and clean garden bed lines brought structure and softness to this outdoor space.

Installed this rainwater catchment system last week. It’s designed to collect and store rainwater from the roof, making better use of natural runoff and giving the homeowner an additional water source when needed.

Always fun working on projects that combine function and thoughtful planning into a clean install!

One of our favorite ways to stay inspired is touring beautiful gardens and studying the details that make a space feel timeless. From texture and color to pathways and plant combinations, there’s always something new to bring back into our own designs here in North Idaho.

Wrapped up this walkway last week. It's a simple upgrade that really pulls the space together!

Working on a client’s property the other day and came across this clutch of wild duck eggs, just quietly tucked away and undisturbed. Kind of a good reminder that some of the best things out there don’t ask to be noticed.

Fire + water… we’re big fans of this combo

It’s the kind of space that makes you want to stay outside a little longer.
