Another small patio project, with a special purpose: a place to gather, celebrate, and dance. 🌿

This approximately 15 × 15-foot paver patio pairs a natural stone look with a charcoal border. Take a look through the photos to see the preparation beneath the finished space.

From small patios to larger landscape projects—and everything in between—we help make outdoor spaces work for the way you live.

Make room for more time outside.

Morning coffee. Dinner outdoors. A quiet place to sit by the garden. A paver patio and thoughtfully planned steps can make an outdoor space more useful without redoing your whole yard.

From small improvements to larger landscape projects, Rock & Petal can help you explore the possibilities. Tell us what you would like to change, and we’ll discuss the layout, scope, pricing and timing.

Before making your fall yard to-do list, take a walk. 🍂
Notice thinner areas in the lawn, where leaves are collecting, and weeds in the garden beds. Consider what needs attention now—and what’s better left for another season.
Follow Rock & Petal for practical North Idaho garden tips, seasonal property care, and local project ideas.

A hillside doesn’t have to remain wasted space.

Our crew transformed this steep slope with boulder walls, granite steps, a natural-stone patio and a curved sitting wall around a granite fire feature.

What was once an awkward slope is now an inviting place for family and friends to gather—and it feels at home in the surrounding landscape.

Have an overlooked area with more potential than purpose? Let’s reimagine it.

This backyard had a low, soggy area that struggled every time it rained. Instead of fighting the water, we worked with it — creating a functional rain garden with river rock, boulders, stepping stones, and layered plantings that help manage runoff while adding year-round interest.

Practical can still be beautiful.
