Owner Kyle brings 20+ years of experience as a framer and residential builder to every project. That background gives him a unique perspective as an excavator. He understands firsthand that quality excavation is the foundation for everything that follows — from a square foundation to true framing and proper drainage around the home site.

Because Kyle has built homes for many years from the ground up, he knows exactly how important it is to get the site work right the first time.

Kyle owns and operates all of his own excavation equipment and has years of hands-on experience:
• Prepping home sites
• Installing utilities
• Building driveways and access roads

We built this little playhouse—aka the Clubhouse—using leftover and mis-ordered building materials ♻️
But we didn’t cut corners. We used this project to practice the healthy home building methods we’re now implementing on our full-scale builds.
You can see the rain screen before the siding went on. A rain screen is a building method that creates a small air gap between the exterior siding and the wall sheathing of a structure. That gap lets water drain and walls dry properly instead of trapping moisture.

Building smarter, healthier homes 🏗️🏡
This is one of the quietest homes we have built to date. The homeowners chose to upgrade to insulation throughout! Rockwool (mineral wool) insulation is made from basalt stone and recycled materials, with no added formaldehyde binders and no off-gassing. It provides excellent thermal performance, superior sound attenuation, and is naturally fire-resistant. Its hydrophobic, vapor-permeable properties help resist moisture and mold growth, supporting better indoor air quality and long-term durability of the building envelope.

Recently we rebuilt a faulty french drain system at a new build. The french drain installed at the time of build did not route the water properly and caused the crawl space to have low level flooding and moisture at all times. It was quite the mess! New pipe, new connections, and a grade sloping out away from the home and down the hillside was the solution!

This house was completed in 2024! Martini Enterprises did a great job on the siding!
