ππ National FFA Week Officer Spotlight β Day 4 ππ
Today we are proud to spotlight our Sentinel, Aubrey Battaglear!
π Grade: 11th
π Years in FFA: 4
Aubrey joined FFA because of her interest in animals and plants in Mrs. Strassburgβs class β and as she puts it, she βbasically just never left.β What has kept her involved? The fun environment, the people, and learning things that most people outside of FFA never get the opportunity to experience.
πΆ SAE Project:
Aubreyβs SAE focuses on caring for her two puppies. Through providing proper nutrition, exercise, and veterinary care, she has learned responsibility and dedication in animal care. Her future goal? Adding another dog to her program and continuing to grow her knowledge!
π Favorite Contest: Poultry
She loves poultry because chickens are involved in so much of our daily lives. Learning where those products come from and how to evaluate their quality makes the contest both practical and fascinating.
π Proudest Moment:
Joining the officer team and stepping into a leadership role for our chapter.
π€ Serving the Community:
Aubrey enjoys promoting FFA to others and sharing how impactful and fun the experience has been. She especially loves hosting community involvement events that help portray a positive image of agriculture to younger members of our community.
π What the Blue Jacket Means to Her:
Wearing the blue jacket represents leadership and reminds her of all the fun memories sheβs made in FFA.
π Advice to Younger Students:
βDo it. I have learned more in FFA than I have doing anything else. Itβs a fun time packed with learning and new experiences not everyone gets to have.β
β¨ Fun Fact:
Aubrey dreams of becoming a lawyer! She is also involved in Cheer and Band, and loves spending her free time with friends.
We are so proud of Aubrey and the leadership she brings to our chapter! ππ
