It's almost Halloween in Spokane Washington. There is a reason why Halloween has a heavy spider and spider web theme. This is the breeding season and it is also the season for them to go indoors and or locations overwintering in sheltered areas outdoors.

AP Tree Service Look who we saw in our neighborhood, shouting out another Colbert Washington business. Ap Tree Service did a great service removing a large pine tree for our neighbor!

Barry Fresh Designs is always there for us as we grow, and support family local business Spokane Washington!

Little by little, the business keeps growing.

Behr Pest Solutions is another local business we've enjoyed watching grow, and we’re happy to keep helping them get their team outfitted along the way.

This round included another batch of embroidered cups, embroidered 1/4-zip pullovers, and a couple of hoodies to add to their branded gear.

It’s always exciting when a business comes back for more as things grow. Every new order is another little step forward, and we’re grateful to be part of it.

Here’s to continued growth for Behr Pest Solutions! 🙌

Show up like it matters. Because it does.

With the frost in Spokane and cold nights we are seeing the beginnings of overwintering Yellowjacket Queens going indoors right now, and stink bugs are right there in mass with them.

The Behr Pest Solutions team: Kevin and I got called out to the Greater Spokane County to take care of paper wasps that were interfering with other projects.

1. First we did a thorough inspection to gather information. Such as where the nest is, also we ask why, what we need to do, and implement the plan.

2.This was a job that needed precision and we took out the pole sprayer.

We were called to take care of paperwasps in a difficult area, it was inside of the peak. The void entrance was about small but the cavity they were nesting in was about 2 feet and they were nesting in the cap as well.

We got them taken care of and our recommendation in the end is sealing up the voids to prevent future nesting. Also there were other conditions that were bringing the paper wasp hunting flies on the roof. The flies were on the roof after birds left droppings. Pretty common occurrence. We did a fly spray as well.

Here are the common mice in Spokane Washington.
1. House Mouse 2. Vole, aka the Meadow Mouse 3. Deer Mouse.
The House Mouse and the Deer Mouse are the two common home invaders.
Mice carry diseases, chew through walls, wires, and insulation. They can cause significant damage to a home and even destroy it by house fire, while chewing through wires in the attic or crawlspace.
The vole is the mouse that digs holes in your lawn and makes running tracks through it as well. The vole also eats the roots of trees and ornamental plants.
