A room with large windows and doors may receive plenty of natural light during the day, but that is only part of the lighting plan.

As daylight changes, the room still needs to feel comfortable and functional. Recessed lighting can provide even coverage, while other fixtures may add focused task lighting or a warmer layer of light in the evening.

Planning these sources together helps the room work from morning through night.

Good lighting design doesn’t compete with the natural light. It supports the space when the sun isn’t doing the work.
