The most common question we get this time of year if when is it too late to hydro seed. Most of our properly cared for projects are mowable in only 4 weeks! That being said now is a great time to hydroseed. What most people don't know is we can hydroseed right up until freeze up as long as we have temps above 35 degrees we can hydroseed. Late seeding like this is referred to as dormant seeding meaning the seeds will stay dormant until spring when the ground temperature reaches above 50 degrees. The benefit to this is as the frost comes out in the spring along with melting snow the need for initial watering is substantially less.

Here is probably the most dramatic before and after we have ever had. This home had so much overgrown landscaping we hauled 54 yds of just junk away. After hauling in 42 yds of black dirt followed by a Hydroseeding application this is the result!!
