The Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, along with multiple other law enforcement agencies, is investigating numerous thefts of center pivot irrigation wire. If you have center pivot spans stored on your property, we ask that you examine them. If you notice that the wire is missing, please contact the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office at (402) 254-6884.

Attention Irrigators: With the projected higher temperatures next week, we do anticipate that we will begin controlling irrigations as early as Monday, but for sure Tuesday thru Friday. We ask that you try to utilize your irrigation systems now and thru the weekend so that you can shut down during the control periods given to help keep the electric load levels down which benefits keeping your rates low.

Any assistance is appreciated and does make a difference!

Get notification on when your pivot turns off or starts back up after load control.
