Just finished this massive grazing board set! This pair was made from the same walnut slab which makes for a perfect grain match. Picture these 4’ long boards laid out with all your favorite finger foods this Thanksgiving. I will be selling this along with others at the Colfax Bazaar! Come check us out!

Gateway to the garden. This gate is built out of cedar and redwood that was milled on site at the woodshop. It is 12’ wide and 6’ tall. I love when I have an opportunity to express my creativity in a way that is beautiful and functional. Looking forward to the next one!

This has been a fun and challenging project. My favorite part about this build is that it helped me advance as a woodworker. I am always grateful for the opportunity to incorporate my art into functional pieces that people can enjoy and look at every day. This gate is 12 feet wide. It is made with a mix of cedar and redwood. These redwood trees were taken down in a local Northern California neighborhood and brought up here to the woodshop where I custom milled the pieces specifically for this gate. I had the design in mind, but I really just made it up as I went. I think that is the best way for me to approach these types of projects for now. Now it’s time to take it up to the customers property where it can settle to its new home. Looking forward to the next build. Thanks for reading.

This time around the lumber was so dry, strait and clear that I had to buy it all. I have a lot of cool and unique projects on the list for the winter. We have a cool 12’ wide gate with a twist, a couple of cool custom gardens and we are going to finish up the walnut tree project now that the slabs are dry. Exciting times at the woodshop!
