For those new to the page, my name is Alex Olson and I’m the owner/operator of Oley’s Welding & Repair.
We’re a small local business based out of the Wahpeton / Colfax area, While we’re proud to serve customers throughout the Red River Valley, we’re not limited to it. We regularly travel throughout west-central Minnesota and eastern North Dakota, including Lakes Country, the Alexandria area, Sauk Centre, Browns Valley, Lake Ashtabula, and many communities in between.
Whether you need a repair in the field, at the lake, on the farm, or at a jobsite, we’re willing to travel to help keep your equipment and projects moving.
What started as one truck, a welder, and a lot of long days has continued to grow through hard work, word of mouth, and customers who trust us to get the job done right. We’re proud to now have a shop in Wahpeton along with fully mobile service capabilities to better serve our customers wherever the work is needed.
I’ve been welding since 2009 and working professionally in the trade since 2012. Before starting Oley’s Welding & Repair, I spent years welding on cell phone towers across the United States. That experience taught me to take pride in quality, reliability, and standing behind my work — and that’s exactly how we run our business today.
