When it comes to window replacement, the details matter.
On this project we replaced 5 windows, but instead of taking the easy route and cutting the old ones out with a sawzall, we removed the siding first.

That extra step allowed us to:
✔️ Properly insulate around the new windows
✔️ Seal everything with ZIP tape & silicone
✔️ Reinstall the siding for a seamless finish

We tackled every detail: repairing cracked tape joints, spot-priming all patches, and delivering smooth, clean finishes throughout. The result? Walls and ceilings that look brand new while staying true to the home’s stunning architecture. We finished the ceilings in a refined flat to keep the look smooth and elegant, and the walls in an eggshell finish for added durability and easy maintenance.

🤷 Why eggshell on the walls?
Unlike flat, which is great at hiding imperfections but tough to clean, eggshell offers better washability and durability—making it ideal for family spaces like these.

2️⃣ Base Coat: Apply 2–3 coats of the base color for a smooth, even surface - refer to your specific base coat for drying time between coats
3️⃣ Create Veins: Use an artist’s brush and spray bottle to draw and soften realistic marble veining
4️⃣ Blend & Detail: Lightly feather the veins for natural variation.
5️⃣ Seal: Finish with a durable clear epoxy topcoat for shine and protection.

💧4 Steps to Restoring Water-Damaged Walls or Ceilings:

Water damage isn’t just ugly—it destroys tape joints and stains will keep bleeding through paint unless you seal it right. Here’s how we fixed this garage the right way:

1️⃣ Find the source – Stop the leak first and make sure all surfaces are dry or the damage will return. Before starting lightly sand affected areas
2️⃣ Seal the stains – Use an oil-based stain blocker like Original Kilz to lock out water marks for good.
💡 Pro Tip: Original Kilz is unbeatable for blocking stains and odors, but it’s got a strong smell — make sure you’re working in a well-ventilated area.
3️⃣ Repair the drywall – Remove bad tape joints, re-bed and re-tape with a quickset or all purpose compound, top coat with joint compound (like proform or plus 3), sand with 180 or 220 grit sandpaper and feather edges to a smooth finish
4️⃣ Finish strong – 2 coats for perfection, or spot-prime if you have just a few patches and coat once.
